Flying away

I can honestly not remember if I took this one while we were flying over the sea or if there's solid ground somewhere beneath the clouds.
I only know that it was pretty dark by the time we had crossed over to Spain because I remember the lights.
Have you ever looked down at Madrid from 11,000 metres high while it was dark? Fascinating.
(Belgium as a whole it also really pretty at night *g*)

Taken in early or mid-Octobre 2007 on the flight back from Fuerteventura, through the window of the plane, obviously. No flash and no real changing of colours in PS.

This was the first flight where I didn't feel miserable at all and also spent most of the time with my nose pressed to the window *g*
